Your data

Privacy policy.

Last updated 8 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data The Pint Printers ("we", "us") collects, why, and what your rights are. We are the data controller. We are based in the United Kingdom. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@thepintprinters.co.uk.

1. What we collect and why

  • Enquiries. When you fill in a quote form we collect your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your event details. Forms are delivered to us by Formspree. We use this to reply to you and prepare your quote. Lawful basis: taking steps to enter a contract with you.
  • Bookings. To run your booking we hold your contact details, event details, delivery address and payment records. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you, and legal obligation for accounting records.
  • Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
  • Designs and event photos. Design files you send us are used only to prepare and load your prints. Selfies uploaded by guests through the QR feature are used only to print at your event and are cleared from the machine when it comes back to us. We only use photos from your event in our marketing with your permission.
  • Email. If you email us we keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed.

2. Cookies and analytics

  • Vercel Analytics gives us anonymous page-view counts and does not use cookies.
  • Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag help us measure whether our advertising works and may set cookies in your browser. Meta and Google act as independent controllers for some of this data under their own policies.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site works fine without them.

3. Who we share data with

Only the services we need to run the business: Formspree (form delivery), Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email and our booking records), our courier (your delivery address and contact number, so they can deliver and collect the machine), and Meta and Google (advertising measurement as above). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months, so we can help if you come back to us.
  • Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
  • Design files and guest uploads: deleted after your event is complete and the machine is checked back in.

5. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@thepintprinters.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

6. Changes

If we change this policy we will update it here with a new date at the top.
